Logical Analysis and Design
Before you can start with development, you need a physical model of the system that you want to create. And before you can develop a physical model, you need a logical model. Are these steps absolutely required to develop a system? Speaking from experience, I have to say “No.” I have found more systems that have been successfully developed and deployed without any analysis and design, or with limited analysis and design behind them.
