CtsComponents Module
The CtsComponents module supplies several significant interfaces of interest to EAServer component developers. The MessageService interface (along with the complementary MessageQueue and MessageListener interfaces) serves as the underlying core of EAServer's Java Messaging Service (JMS) implementation, so accessibility to this interface allows PowerBuilder to participate in a J2EE architecture. The ThreadManager interface enables components to spawn user threads that are maintained by EAServer. For PowerBuilder component developers, in particular, this can help work around threading restrictions in the PowerBuilder Virtual Machine (VM).
