In the last chapter, we got a little taste for solid modeling using geometric primitives in the open-source computer-aided design package OpenSCAD, a surprisingly versatile tool for 3D modeling. I am aware that working only with geometric primitives might sound, well, primitive, however, with these simple forms we can build up some rather complex 3D models.
