Key Concepts in Electricity

This chapter introduces a number of key concepts. In so doing it provides a solid framework for the development of an understanding of the behaviour of electronic components and electrical circuits. In keeping with the stated aims of the book to avoid unnecessary levels of detail, the topics discussed here are presented in a relatively broad fashion, with the goal of facilitating a sufficient degree of understanding to guide the practical electronics to come.
