Practical sessions
The practical sessions associated are designed to enhance the readers’ understanding of the lecture materials. Some sessions may go beyond what is being taught for those who are interested. Thus they not only enhance but also extend the knowledge that has been gained from the lectures.
Most of the practical sessions are software based. They make use of the widely used MATLAB software from Mathworks, Inc. Other sessions use the Texas Instruments DSP boards for experimentation. The readers are encouraged to explore as far as time allows.
