This chapter focuses on two main areas, Schema queries and Column queries. Schema queries are all about metadata (data about data). For example, you can list all of the algorithms available, all of your mining structures, all of your mining models, all of your structure or model columns, and more. DMSCHEMA_MINING_SERVICE_PARAMETERS is very useful for showing the various parameters for each algorithm and what they mean. Column queries are used to examine the values (or states) of all your discrete, discretized, and continuous structure columns.
