Point to point movement is one of the most commonly used methods to control the movement of a character. It is self-explanatory why it is widely used, because the character moves from one point to another and usually that's we want; we want the character to arrive at certain destination or follow another character. One game genre that also requires this type of movement is the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games that have become very popular recently.
