Well executed questionnaires are tailor-made to both your game (in its current state) and the playtesting session itself. Sometimes you’ll go for a very short and snappy form, with just a few burning questions to answer, and other times, you’ll try to build the profile of the player and seek feedback on every aspect of the game. Consider the following tips:
- Be mindful of the length: The length of your questionnaire should correspond to the length of the test and how much area you've covered. A form with 25 questions may be suitable for a week-long playathon, but not so much for a few short sessions of gameplay focused on the onboarding experience.
