7. Deployment and Publishing

We’ve gotten everything in place – we’ve written our test content, we’ve set up our chosen theme, and we’ve prepared our media. But how do we get it all published?

No problem – Hexo makes deployment and publication straightforward, although there are still a few steps involved to get content online. To help with this, we can set up an automated system to upload to GitHub or GitLab and then deploy to any one of several different hosts, such as Netlify, Heroku, or even AWS! Throughout this chapter, we’ll take a look at the deployment process, so you can see how we can make our content live.
