All the setups described in the previous chapters will produce excellent holograms, and you can easily rig one of them up for a practical demonstration in a school or college laboratory. But if you intend to take up holography more seriously as a hobby, a creative medium, or a research tool, you need a good deal more in the way of equipment than we have suggested in these earlier chapters.
