Validation
Why You Should Validate
Validation is a frequently requested enhancement. Clients ask me to add a W3C validation logo to their pages to indicate that they have employed a competent web designer. Validation enables web designers to take pride in their accurate coding. There are also practical reasons for validating, as follows:
- Validating is another way to troubleshoot obscure problems. The designer can save time and avoid frustration by validating before testing a page in the various browsers.
- It ensures that your pages are correctly coded so that browsers do not produce odd results.
- It ensures that search engines will not be blocked by your minor coding errors.
