CHAPTER 12Web Services with JRuby

With this chapter we begin work on the final project in this book. Without doubt, it will be the most complex application described in this book, and not all code will be written out because that would take too much space. In the applications we've created so far, we've had the luxury of writing most of the code ourselves. Things are not always so easy in the real world, and we'll now take a closer look at specific ways to interoperate with other language systems, primarily using web services and Java Messaging Service (JMS).
