A massive collection of Linux HOWTO documents is usually included with each Linux distribution. Many Linux distributions, including Red Hat Linux 6.1, come with nearly 200 documents, requiring more than 6MB in compressed form! HOWTO documents are comprehensive, detailed guides for solving problems or for obtaining a quick education on specialized aspects of using Linux.
