This chapter covers electromechanial and mechanical systems. We discuss the issues how to build simulation models of electro-mechanical and mechanical systems in the examples of DC motor with input voltage and flexible load, microphone, motor-pump gear box, and double pendulum. We demonstrate linear and non-linear behaviors of the elctromechanical and mechanical systems by developing and simulating the models in MATLAB and Simulink environments.
