In the early days of my involvement with SharePoint, back when it had the code name Tahoe and I represented Dell on Microsoft’s Partner Advisory Council for Portals and Collaboration, I was always the lone voice in the room telling anyone who would listen that deploying SharePoint successfully is only a small part about getting the technology right and a very large part toward solving a business problem and the associated best practices that good business analysts have known for years.
