Figure 12-1 shows one of my favorite PCB designs that I am fortunate to have (the one shaped like a skull). I did not make this design, but it is such a powerful example of the platform being designed for the purpose that I could not resist including it. Next to it is a circuit board that I designed myself, which as you can see is much simpler and more geometric, but it also illustrates the idea that the form fits the function.
