CREATE ESTIMATES

This section covers the Create Estimates stage of the project estimating process. The objective of Create Estimates is to apply estimating techniques to deliver project estimates with a known level of accuracy and considering inputs from other stages. If the project is a component of a portfolio or program, it may have an effect throughout the enterprise and this should be taken into account when creating and modifying estimates (Refer to Section 2, Figure 2-3, for more details on the three estimation technique categories). Appendix X3 contains a detailed example applying these techniques, including the case study.
