HOW TO INFLUENCE PATTERNS USING CONSTRAINTS
When faced with a need to bring about a desired change, focus should be on constraints that form the pattern of behavior, process, or relationship that is dysfunctional. Traditional approaches by change practitioners included tools that sometimes worked, but perhaps with limited success. Practitioners were left with few resources to understand why their interventions worked or how to search for a new tool that might work better.
