Globalization of news is having far reaching effects on the news gatherers and the news disseminators. One of the important parts of global journalism practice is knowing what can and can’t be reported and where. As well, the world is rushing headlong into a technologically unknown future, with new changes occurring almost daily. These changes all have an effect on global news flow, and the way journalists are able to report what is happening around the world. The new technologies also mean that there is considerable growth in the media globally, particularly in the areas we have traditionally thought of as broadcast.
