Abstract

This part represents the collection of specialty areas that are shared across all of enterprise architecture, (e.g., business architecture, information systems architecture, operations architecture, and control systems architecture), such as the standards for standards, mostly to avoid any kind of document being named a standards document when it is potentially the furthest from reality. This area can be viewed as the governance of all architectural disciplines to help ensure that the appropriate disciplines are in place and are performing to a standard that ensures an appropriate return on investment else it should be restaffed, right-sized, both, or decommissioned.
