Let’s get started! This part will cover installing Sass and writing your first bits of Sass. Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll be going through in the Basics section:

• You’ll look at several ways to install Sass in Task 1, ​Installing Sass​.

• In Task 2, ​Scoping Selectors with Nesting​, you’ll learn about one of the first—and most useful—features of Sass.

• In Task 3, ​Commenting​, you’ll add comments that appear in the output, as well as comments that only appear in the source files.

• Then you’ll learn about other features of scoping in Task 4, ​Advanced Scoping​.

• Next, you’ll control the CSS produced by your compiler in Task 5, ​CSS Output Styles​.

• You’ll put your code into separate files in Task 6, ​Importing Files
