Regression
Regression is a technique that models the relationship between dependent variables and a target variable. It is used to determine or predict what the possible value will be of the target variable. In Chapter 10, examples were given showing you how to build and apply regression models using the Oracle Data Miner tool. In this chapter, you learn how you can perform the same steps using the SQL and PL/SQL procedures and functions.
