Using the Preview Area of the Project Window

The preview area of the Project window displays a sample image of the selected bin or clip. The preview area also displays the number of clips in a bin or the vital statistics of a clip—its name, file type, image dimensions, and so on.

If the selected clip is a movie file, you can actually play back the clip—with sound—directly in the Project window. In addition, the thumbnail frame used to represent the clip in the icon and thumbnail views is no longer restricted to the first frame of the clip.
