Using the Storyboard Window
Although you can create a storyboard in the Project window’s icon view, Premiere’s Storyboard window provides a more spacious, full-featured area for creating a storyboard. With it, you can add a descriptive note below each clip in the storyboard. Most important, you can save your storyboard as a file. A storyboard file works much like a program file, referring to the clips that it contains. You can open a storyboard file in the current project or separately.
In addition to adding the storyboard’s clips to the timeline, you can export its contents to video. If you’re familiar with previous versions of Premiere, you can see how the Storyboard window acts as a kind of replacement for library and sequence files.
