Moving Clips in the Timeline
You can manipulate clips directly in the timeline to shift and rearrange them. You can move individual clips, multiple clips, or entire tracks.
To move a clip in the timeline:
Drag selected clips to an unused part of the timeline.
When synch mode is on, both portions of linked clips move together (Figure 6.52); when synch mode is off, the video and audio portions of linked clips move independently (Figure 6.53).
