Changing the Speed of a Clip
When a clip is in the timeline, you can change its speed to make it play either faster or more slowly. Changing the speed of a clip directly affects its duration. The clip’s in and out points remain intact, however.
In Premiere, you can change the speed of a clip by choosing a menu command or by dragging directly in the timeline.
To change the speed of a clip by using the Speed command:
1. | In the timeline, select a clip (Figure 6.91).
