Chapter 6. Editing in the Timeline
In the Timeline window, the sequence looks a lot like edited film. Unlike film, however, the timeline allows you to view any segment of the sequence instantly or to view the entire sequence. The timeline isn’t simply another way to look at or navigate through the sequence; it also gives you a way to edit. Editing in the timeline can feel almost as tactile as editing film but can be far more flexible and efficient than using razors and tape.
