WE BEGIN OUR DISCUSSION OF RELATIONAL COACHING MOVES with self-observation, since self-awareness is the basis for everything that follows. There are specific coaching moves that encourage self-observation, and we can design practices for it.
I’ve lumped realization with self-observation into one chapter, even though it’s a distinct component. Realization is simply something that happens in us. It arises from self-observation; we don’t have realization moves.
