In our opening story, George was disappointed at the reaction he got from his audience. He was talking about what he thought the client ought to know and not about what the client wanted to hear, their self-interest in the project. He blamed the audience and thought it wasn’t his fault. So many times, presenters, like George, don’t understand why their presentations fail.
