Style and Technique
Although there are many different ways to present, there are certain methods and skills that seem to work best in most situations. These tend to fall into two categories: style and technique.
Style
Some presenters pride themselves on having a certain style that they use while making a presentation. Having a style works great if making presentations is your business. Most of you who are reading this book, though, will probably use a combination of different styles that you’re comfortable with and that your audiences seem to respond to. You’ll do this because of the wide range of audiences you’ll present to, all with varying needs and responding to different styles.
