2 Your voice and how to use it
Your voice is one of the most powerful weapons you have. It is insane not to train yourself in the ways you can use it. It seems obvious that you must be able to speak well if you are embarking on a lifetime in broadcasting but, strangely, this is often overlooked. Your voice will be your unique, identifying trademark and a selling point. It will be recognized by everyone who hears you. Incredibly, people still recognize mine from my Newsbeat presenting days years ago.
