As a presenter, appearances, in every sense of the word, are all. Primarily, of course, you are trying to do a good job of work but at the same time you are selling your own capabilities to your audience, your interviewees, fellow workers, your employers and, last but by no means least, you are trying to convince yourself that you can do it so that you build up your own confidence. What you look like and how you conduct yourself are fundamental issues.
