Chapter 14

Master Facilitation

Abstract

PrD depends on a form of facilitation rarely seen in other disciplines: improvisation. Further, PrD requires its facilitators to keep stakeholders focused on assumptions and objectives, as rendered in an artifact. These two qualities of PrD facilitation differentiate it from facilitation more frequently used in many social science research practices. Mastery of PrD facilitation may mean unlearning skills required in other contexts as it differs in sometimes subtle ways.
