7. Managing Color
EVERY PHOTOGRAPHER AIMS to make his or her photography better, easier, and more efficient. One of the most important steps toward doing that is understanding how our equipment interprets a scene’s color. This information lets us know how we’re doing at the moment of capture, but it is also invaluable later, in Photoshop, when it comes time to make adjustments. Your color management process should ensure that your images’ colors stay as consistent as possible throughout your workflow, but unfortunately it’s rarely so easy.
