Authorise initiation

Description:

Projects take time and cost money to initiate, so the activities for initiation should be planned, monitored and controlled. The project board activity to authorise initiation ensures that such investment is worthwhile.

Decision: Is this project idea worthy of further investigation?

Once an idea that is at least worthy of a second (more detailed) look has been discovered, a request will be sent to the project board to authorise initiation.
