Principles of colour perception
Abstract:
This chapter discusses the construction of the human eye and the mechanism of human perception of colour. Additive and subtractive methods of colour mixing, colour matching functions and standard observer functions are discussed. Trichromatic, opponent, zone and retinex theories of colour vision theories are explained.
