Peer-to-Peer Integration

In all the structured query-based data integration and warehousing architectures we have described so far in this book, one must create a mediated schema or centralized database for the domain of the data integration application, before any queries may be posed. This task requires significant modeling, maintenance, and coordination effort among the owners of the data sources.
