The PRC should be organized by the corporate privacy group (CPG) in conjunction with the legal and public relations departments. As long as it is adequately staffed, a different department can handle the administration of a PRC. A customer care or product support department is a likely choice for running a PRC, because it generally has the experience and systems to handle customer issues.
