By now, you have a basic idea of what augmented reality (AR) is, what is being done with it around the world, and what you can do with it on an Android device. This chapter will launch you into the world of AR on Android and teach you the basics of it. To aid in your understanding of everything done here (and elsewhere) in this book, we will create apps that demonstrate what is being taught as we move along.
