WatchFaces Bitmap Design: Using Raster Graphics for WatchFaces
You now have enough of the WatchFaces API code in place to be able to test your Java code, which means that this is going to be a busy chapter. You’ll learn how to get the emulators working, test the code, and make any additions, and after you have a working vector watch face application, you’ll then look at how to incorporate a BitmapDrawable asset to create a background image for the watch face application. Most watch face designs will utilize a combination of bitmap assets and vector drawing code to create a design.
