You've now seen how to query data from the server, but it's rare that a business application only displays data. As a general rule, the user will also want to edit, add, and delete data within the Silverlight application. RIA Services helps you by tracking the changes made to a collection of entities, and sending only the entities that have changed to the server when the user wants to save their changes.
