Node.js is a lightweight platform built on a V8 JavaScript engine for developing efficient scalable network applications. Node.js is designed for data-intensive real-time applications. Couchbase provides a Node.js Client library for accessing documents stored in Couchbase Server. The Node.js Client library has built-in support for JSON and scales automatically with an expanding Couchbase cluster.
