Basic Administration
Before we dive into the intricacies of Couchbase Server administration, we must learn the number-one, irreplaceable, absolutely crucial Couchbase troubleshooting technique: turning it off and on again.
On Linux, Couchbase is configured to run as a daemon during installation. The startup script is located in /etc/init.d/couchbase-server.
To start or stop the server manually, run the script with the appropriate argument.
