CSS Grid Layout provides a sensible solution to a standard layout paradigm that has been challenging web designers since the move away from table-based layout and the adoption of CSS for layout.

Note

CSS Grid Layout is perhaps the most difficult of the new modules to use because browser support is still being developed. At the time of writing, the only render-reliable vendor is Microsoft, although by the time you are reading this book, this will likely have changed.
