Writing the Server with Node.js and MongoDB, Part I

Are you ready to kick this pig? Over the past two chapters, you were introduced to Node.js and MongoDB, and you received the foundation of knowledge that you need to build My Mobile Organizer. Now it’s time to do just that!

There’s just one more thing you need to know before we get down and dirty with some server-side code, and that’s what this REST stuff is all about. I’ve mentioned it a number of times in the preceding chapters, but now is the time to really look at it and see what all the fuss is about.

Don’t worry, though. You’ve been waiting patiently for some actual code long enough, and this won’t take very long. Soon we’ll be swimming in code!
