Automated builds with Bamboo
In the previous chapter, we talked a lot about Jenkins, the open source automated build platform. Even if it comes with some issues and weird behaviors, we really hope that at the end of the chapter you realized what a great platform it actually is. We’ve showed you how easy it is to get it started and described the benefits of having one at home. The question you might me asking yourself right now is “why do we need another one?” That’s a good question but before we answer it, let’s make one thing clear: this book does not aim to promote Bamboo over Jenkins.
