9. Adding Search to an App

If you open the Contacts app on an iPhone, you’ll see a list of people whose names and contact information you’ve saved. When you want to find a particular person, you could scroll through your list or jump to a specific area alphabetically. However, it’s much faster to just search for that data by typing text into a search bar as shown in Figure 9-1.
