The APEX dictionary (or repository, as it is also known) is arguably one of the most exciting features in APEX, and perhaps also one of the most underutilized.
During training sessions and presentations, we frequently like to ask the attendees, "Who is currently using the APEX Dictionary?" A varying number of hands are usually shown (at the time of writing, typically less than 10%). It is a bit of a trick question, since everyone using APEX is using the APEX Dictionary, whether they know it or not.
