If you have never used SharePoint nor had an experience with the product, you can skip this section of the chapter, aimed at those who want to gain a quick understanding of what the new SharePoint 2010 version offers over the previous SharePoint 2007 version.
Nevertheless, I recommend taking note of the new functionality and changes mentioned in this section, as it gives a useful high-level overview of some of the cool features that SharePoint 2010 provides.
