2.1. Installing the Controls and Tools

The installation of Telerik's RadControls and tools in a development machine is a click-next process in which the installer does all the work. The steps to installation and configuration are as follows:

  1. Verify your development machine meets the system requirements.

  2. Log in to your account on Telerik's web site (www.telerik.com).

  3. Go to the Downloads section, and download the installers.

  4. Execute the installer, and follow the instructions on screen.

The first step is to check the system requirements for your development machine. You will need the following:

  • Any of the following operating system and Internet Information Services (IIS):

    Microsoft Windows 2000 Server or Pro with IIS 5.x
